Ave!

I can hardly believe that including this patch was reasonable. First, it
breaks building some package from source. Second, it changes the default
behaviour from the one provided by upstream. Third, it makes upgrade to
Debian from other OSes a pain for web servers where services tend to use
(PHP/GD combination with) ISO Latin2 codepage (for example the ones in
Poland).

If you insist on having the fonts with Western encoding, then at the
very least leave us some way to get the Central-European encoding as
well. Making the internal fonts use UTF-8 encoding would do the trick.
Making a version of this package with the Latin2 encoding as default
would do the trick as well. Dropping the patch altogether would be best.

Regards,

Piotr Sulecki.
