Peter,

It is proably too late to include the new version of exiv2 with the pending 
freeze of etch and the necessary rebuild that such a library transition would 
cause.

However,  The offer of taking over exiv2 or co-maintainership is still valid.

Are you happy for us to take over exiv2?
