The upstream maintainer of wireless-tools (Jean Tourrilhes) thinks that
the Broadcom driver is buggy and is sending back corrupted structures to
wireless-tools. Wireless-tools should of course not crash, but you
should also contact the maintainers of the Broadcom driver and tell them
there's a problem.
