Hi,

can you please send me the config files
/etc/dbus/system.d/(knetworkmanager.conf|nm-applet.conf).
Your user is in group netdev I guess (otherwise it wouldn't work with
nm-applet).
Can you please send me the complete NetworkManager log when you try to
connect with knetworkmanager (stop NetworkManager
/etc/dbus/event.d/25NetworkManager stop and run as root NetworkManager
--no-daemon).
Please also run dbus-monitor --system (as root) and send me the output
when you try to connect with knetworkmanager.
Can you please create a test account and run knetworkmanager from within
that account, so we can make sure to avoid any sideeffects (obviously
don't forget to add that account to group netdev).

Cheers,
Michael
