Hi Adeato, it seems (at least corresponding to the changelog) that you originally intended to move the xmms wrapper to /usr/lib/amarok/, the README.Debian also explains why you did that. But quoting the 1.4.3-1 changelog:
* Stop placing scripts in /usr/lib/amarok instead of /usr/bin. This is not supported upstream, and ends up causing more trouble that not. You decided to move the scripts back to /usr/bin. Does amarok_xmmswrapper2 qualify as script or was this change unintentional? If you decide to move amarok_xmmswrapper2 back to /usr/bin, please update README.Debian and debian/rules accordingly. I'm extremely annoyed by the fact, that amarok wants to pull in xmms along with its gtk1 dependencies. I even offer to upload an NMU if you are short of time and you agree on it. Just tell me, how you want to have it handled (/usr/bin or /usr/lib/amarok). Cheers, Michael -- Why is it that all of the instruments seeking intelligent life in the universe are pointed away from Earth?
