Unfortunately it's not that easy. This version of FAAD is not ABI-compatible with previous versions. (Ccing Matthew, so he knows that upstream needs to get a clue about shared library versioning...) I've filed a bug at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376591 but unfortunately even after updating the configure.ac, FAAD support does not seem to be flawless. I get a gstfaad.so, but GStreamer refuses to acknowledge that it exists. I'll continue looking into it. -- Joe Wreschnig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
