Package: knockd Version: 0.5-1.1 Followup-For: Bug #335559 It seems that knockd never recognizes a sequence consisting of a single port as complete. If you watch the log...
$ tail -f /var/log/knockd.log you'll notice that it sees the packet, but there is no 'OPEN SESAME' signalling a complete knock. The workaround for now is to have at least two ports in the sequence. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-ddawson Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages knockd depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libpcap0.8 0.9.5-1 System interface for user-level pa ii logrotate 3.7.1-3 Log rotation utility knockd recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- Email: Daniel Dawson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Jabber: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Web: http://www.icehouse.net/ddawson/ Yahoo!: danielcdawson ifMUD: DanDawson -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.12 GCS/M d- s+:- a-- C++(+++)>$ UL++(++++) P(+)>++ L++>+++ E>+(++) W++ N++@ o?
