Package: emacs21 Version: 21.4a+1-1 Severity: normal desktop.el doesn't set major modes according to the desktop file; this bug is hidden by the fact that setting major mode according to auto-mode-alist still works, so most files are correctly set.
If for example I put a file "bar" in c-mode, then quit and reload, it is loaded in text-mode. I don't know if the problem is related to this: desktop-load-default does nothing because there's no "default.el" on the load-path.
