i have build a new version, which reached unstable a few days ago. I have did a limited testing on amd64 and did not have any problem. Maybe you could try current unstable version and tell me if you still have the same problems. If so, then i will try to reproduce it. But as the smsd has been changed and improved slightly, hopefully the problem will disappear.
