Package: octave2.9-headers Version: 2.9.9-6 Severity: normal
Header files on my system are under '/usr/include/octave/octave'. So right now, '/usr/include/octave' -> '/usr/include/octave-2.9.9'. But shouldn't the header files be accessible directly under '/usr/include/octave'? That is, shouldn't the alternative system be configured so that '/usr/include/octave' -> '/usr/include/octave-2.9.9/octave'? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-2-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages octave2.9-headers depends on: ii fftw3-dev 3.1.2-1 library for computing Fast Fourier ii g++ 4:4.1.1-13 The GNU C++ compiler ii gfortran 4:4.1.1-13 The GNU Fortran 95 compiler ii lapack3-dev 3.0.20000531a-6 library of linear algebra routines ii libhdf5-serial-dev 1.6.5-3 Hierarchical Data Format 5 (HDF5) ii libncurses5-dev 5.5-5 Developer's libraries and docs for ii libreadline5-dev 5.2-1 GNU readline and history libraries ii octave2.9 2.9.9-6 GNU Octave language for numerical ii refblas3-dev 1.2-8 Basic Linear Algebra Subroutines 3 octave2.9-headers recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
