I just install horde3, and I configured it to use a MySQL database to store user (authentification backend), preferences, etc. However, without the php-db package, this configuration is unusable. Horde3 failed to start with a message saying it cannot include 'DB.php'. So, I think horde3 should suggest to use this package, or, at least, give a better message. I don't know what is the best option ...
