Package: ndiswrapper Version: 1.28-1 Severity: normal hi,
since my last update of ndiswrapper suite (1.23 to 1.28 and ndiswrapper-utils 1.8 to 1.9), my wlan doesn't work anymore. I should mention that linux-image/headers were updated too (2.6.18-1-k7 to 2.6.18-2-k7). There's something new in dmesg like "changing interface name": ndiswrapper version 1.28 loaded (preempt=no,smp=yes) ndiswrapper: driver sis163u (TRENDnet,11/20/2005,5.1.1039.1050) loaded wlan0: vendor: 'Wireless Driver' wlan0: ethernet device d8:f8:ba:d8:f8:ba using NDIS driver sis163u, 0457:0163.F.conf wlan0: encryption modes supported: WEP; TKIP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2PSK; AES/CCMP with WPA, WPA2, WPA2PSK ndiswrapper: changing interface name from 'wlan0' to 'wlan1' ndiswrapper (wrap_procfs_add_ndis_device:364) wlan1 alread registred? usbcore: registred new driver ndiswrapper Any clue to resolve the issue ? cheers, Fathi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
