Package: kernel-image-2.4.27-powerpc-pmac Version: 2.4.27-1 Severity: minor
I'm running the 2.4.27 kernel image from sarge on my debian woody system. For the most part it is working properly, however I'm getting odd error messages in my system log from dhcpd. I see error messages similar to the following on every dhcp packet it recieves: Mar 18 12:49:25 aladdin dhcpd: ip length 289 disagrees with bytes received 293. Mar 18 12:49:25 aladdin dhcpd: accepting packet with data after udp payload. This doesn't appear to actually be breaking anything, but at the least it is slighly worrying. (Based on http://lkml.org/lkml/2004/12/26/5 I was lead to believe this is a kernel issue not dhcpd. If this is due to my running an older version of dhcpd on the newer kernel please just let me know and I'll just ignore these messages until sarge releases and I upgrade the rest of my system.) -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: powerpc Kernel: Linux aladdin 2.4.27-powerpc #1 ven sep 3 09:34:51 CEST 2004 ppc Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages kernel-image-2.4.27-powerpc-pmac depends on: ii kernel-modules-2.4.27-powerpc 2.4.27-1 linux kernel modules for the power -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
