Package: gramps
Version: 2.2.2-1
Severity: normal

Help 3.6.2 says:

Now a question: Does the person who will form the relationship
with the Active person already exist in the database? If yes, click
the Select button to the other person. You'll
then be able to browse through the list of people in the database to
        select the one you want.

Doesn't work for spouses though...

Start 'gramps', select person, then 'Relationships' in Sidebar, then
the '+' icon next to Family. "Family Editor" pops up, set 'Type:' to
Married, and then...

Confusion -- how do you add a spouse? According to the help above, one
should "click the select button". Well there's one select button
and its tooltip claims that it adds a child.

I try it anyway. No, it adds the selected person as a child.

Thus, according to 'gramps' my Mother is now my Father's illegitimate
parent, even though he's older than her, which 'gramps' should have
known as I'd previously entered their birthdates.

Summing up: Marriage selection is broken or hasn't been coded yet.
Also 'gramps' should output an error message for impossible
relationships, such as when the child is older than the parent.

Hope this helps...
