However, we cannot update our stable release for wishlist items, these can only be applied to the unstable release. Currently our unstable / testing distributions are preparing for the release of Debian "etch", and therefore there's a conservative updating policy. I'm not adding your patch to Debian specifically but it will be included when accepted upstream. thanks, Thijs
