Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.4-1
Severity: normal

When doing upgrade with "U" and "g", everything works in gnome-terminal
fine unless I resize window. If I resize it, aptitude fails to return
to visual mode properly after doing all the good upgrade actions. I see
"New Packages" entry which should not be there and pressing "q" then
does not bring me to mini window asking yes/no. Thus I have to do
ctrl-C :-<

Today, I was running aptitude for upgrade in "screen" program which was
running in gnome-terminal. Bang! I kill gnome-terminal window. Then
open new terminal and run "screen -r". Voila! I get to see aptitude
keep working. Nice. Then Bang! I killed terminal and log into Linux
console after ALT-CREL-F1. "screen -r", I get to see aptitude again
keep working. But after everything is done, aptitude freezed just as
above resize window case.

This is minor problem because I can press CTRL-C and start new aptitude
without problem with nice updated information.

But since this is reproducible issue, you may want to fix.

Anyway, I like "l"->"~i" "S"->"~installsize" in Flat Display mode.
Maybe next release shuold have "Size display" in which packages are
separated as following hierachy: State, Size

Another interesting thing may be have Size display for Orphaned
packages.

"apt-get build-dep" equivalent functionality will be nice too.

Just my thought. You are free to close this bug when you fix first bug
I mention (Freeze issue.)

Thanks for your work.
