Sorry, I just reread my report and it makes not much sense. I try to give you some more information. Just take an event which is displayed in the calendar. Go with the mouse cursor over that item at the bottom so that the cursor changes to the arrow (up-down). The click the left mouse button and drag the border further down to "prolong" that event. Then evolution crashes in most cases with the backtrace in my last message. Sometimes (in a few cases) it does not crash. But on some next events it does.
