AFAICT, pppd with option "usepeerdns" does change /etc/resolv.conf. See http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2001/08/msg00054.html or http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch07s02.html.en Ciao, Eike PS: As I had to change my network configuration, the bug isn't happening here anymore.
