I guess this might be a valid point. Anyway, how should icedove
detect, that it is currently running in gnome? Otherwise, if you
always run gnome, select GNOME in dpkg-reconfigure icedove. This will
allow you to set your preferred browser in GNOME Preferred
Applications Dialog, which should be the behaviour you want.
