Package: dbus Version: 1.0.1-2 Severity: normal Hi,
I have a weird bugreport to submit, which is not easily reproducible. When following few steps involving running and quitting dbus apps, a crash occurs in the apps which seems dbus related. I can only see this on ppc, but other people can reproduce on ppc too. For example: 1. run xchat 2. run xfce4-terminal (1) 3. run xfce4-terminal (2) 4. close xfce4-terminal (1) 5. close xfce4-terminal (2) 6. xchat crashes (segv) The same thing happens with xfdesktop, or nm-applet, or evolution-alarm-notify. I've reported the bug on Xfce bugzilla (as I'm a member of pkg-xfce team) but upstream said the bug shouldn't be in terminal but in dbus. See [1] for more informations. As this bug only occurs in ppc (maybe big endian arches ?) it's not easily reproducible, but still it's very annoying. Thanks in advance for your help.
