Hi Andre, Can you please try debugging the hang you're experiencing? Approximately sequence of steps:
1. Run X, wait for it to hang. 2. Log in via ssh, or from another virtual console. 3. Note the process id of the hanged X process. 4. Run gdb. 5. Enter command 'attach <pid>', where pid is process id. 6. Enter 'backtrace' to see where it is looping/hanging (you can send the output of this command to the bug report). It would be even more valuable, if you would rebuild the xorg packages with debugging symbols and install them before debugging. If you don't know how to do that, let me know.
