When using Beagle search, opening an email in the search results produces a three-pane Thunderbird window rather than just opening the individual email. This is irritating because there is no means of doing anything useful with the email you've opened - the reply, forward etc buttons are greyed out.
From the Beagle mailing list, I understand the reason for this is that Thunderbird/Icedove lacks a command-line tool for opening an individual email. It would be useful to have this functionality added to Thunderbird/Icedove, whether upstream or in the Debian package.
