Sounds fair by me. However, I recommend we wait for the current
version to reach testing (we need to ask the release team for that,
because of the udebs).

Alastair, I would really like to see us separate "upstream"
development (new/fixed keymaps and fotns, etc.) and the Debian
packaging. Would that be possible some time?

What I imagine in cases like this one is having first a Debian "patch"
to add the new keymap...until we release a new upstream version with
this patch included, and so on....
