#s2ram -i

This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor   = "FUJITSU SIEMENS"
sys_product  = "D1547"
sys_version  = "        "
bios_version = "4.06  Rev. 1.08.1547            "

s2ram -f works fine for me. The workarounds are not needed.
I use Matrox MGA 550 card + Xorg 7.1 + Matrox drivers.
(Xorg-mga-driver does not support DVI.)
