Okay, it looks better, except
(1) the second link looks wrong (missing ".mime")

(2) the manpages haven't changed from 0.6-3 (so #402515 is *not* closed)
(3) I don't understand why the source needs to contain all the magic
stuff. Do you do something special with it? Otherwise, maybe all
you need is something like a build-depends on libmagic-dev and a
few small changes? Then you could throw away all the stuff from
stegdetect/file/* (and rely on the maintainer of libmagic-dev to
always keep the magic up to date).
I haven't had time to check the details, though.
