Hi,
If think this is a bug in GStreamer, the backend used by both Rythmbox and
Sound-Juicer to play and extract audio Cd's. Totem (Movie Player) doesn't
support playing audio CD's any longer. (It's a Movie Player, not a Media
Player).
I think it would be appropriate to reassign this bug to
gstreamer0.10-plugins-base.
I'm not sure how to go about debugging this, but a start could be to run
gst-launch-0.10 cdda://1 ! autoaudiosink
from a terminal, and see what error messages you get.
