Me again...Well, I checked the Ubuntu bug database (Ubuntu is a useful thing indeed...).
As it happens, this bug has already been fixed in Ubuntu (Ubuntu #402973), in the patch provided by Michael Bienia (tried the patch, works).
So, would you please consider including that patch in the Debian package as well?
