if facter actually tries to call 'host #{hostname}' (Line 797).
/usr/lib/ruby/1.8/facter.rb:797:in `loadfacts': private method `chomp'
called for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError)
theres another issue with the host-command described in:
http://reductivelabs.com/cgi-bin/facter.cgi/ticket/29
which btw is a bit orthogonal to the missing-host-command problem
