Package: kde-icons-crystal Followup-For: Bug #295612 Hi,
This bug has been open for nearly 2 years now without any reply from the maintainer. Reading the copyright file, it turns out that the FTP site indicated as the source for the orig tarball now requires a login and password. Fetching the tarball from the author's website, I couldn't determine the license of this artwork to back the GPL statement in debian/copyright; there is no license indication on the website nor in the tarball. Moreover, as the original submitter pointed out, it is very likely that the icons were generated from master SVG files, which are not included in the orig tarball. I highly doubt that the PNG files are the preferred source of modification, thus I believe we have a clear GPL violation, provided the icon set really is released under the GPL. Please advise, JB. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.19 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
