This behavior has been frustrating me for a month, but I just happened upon a solution: For whatever strange reason, I was able to magically enable this tab history by changing some settings in the preferences. Under main settings, I first put in a homepage URL, and then selected the "show my windows and tabs from last time". This preference failed to work, but allowed the tab history to be preserved. I have since removed my homepage URL and set the startup behavior back to 'blank page' which was the default, but now the tab history magically works. Cheers, JDR
