Hm, I tried to reproduce but I haven't met (at least printing testpage via CUPS web page). Could you send the file caused error? We changed two things around pstops at 1.2.7-2. Could you try to replace /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstops with http://kmuto.jp/tmp/pstops? This version reverts one of the patches.
