Yes. Never noticed any terminal breaking Ctrl-based keybindings (except C-? and C-d aka Delete and Backspace and sometimes C-h :-) -- and Ctrl-based keybindings are ASCII... Hey, they work fine! Notice that always with Emacs over some ssh/screen/etc. connections. You're right, C-f and C-b are not documented in the quick-help of Sid's version of aptitude.
