Since recent gthumb uploads, saving an image that has been modified no longer works. We get the file chooser dialog as normal but then, after the file saving operation should have taken place, we find ourselves back staring at an image whose filename still says [modified]. Sure enough, when we navigate to the next image in the folder, gthumb asks us if we wanna save the modifications. We do and we select Save As.
