Package: fontconfig Version: 2.4.2-1 Severity: important
Running "sudo dselect" to update the computer, installation of ttf-opensymbol failed with fc-cache having a bus error after complaining about a bad *USER* .fontconfig cache entry. It works without problem when running with "su -" and then "dpkg -i ...". fc-cache should ignore user .fontconfig if installing a package, shouldn't it? -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-2-k7 Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE) Versions of packages fontconfig depends on: ii defoma 0.11.10 Debian Font Manager -- automatic f ii fontconfig-config 2.4.2-1 generic font configuration library ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-9 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libexpat1 1.95.8-3.4 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libfontconfig1 2.4.2-1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.2.1-5 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime fontconfig recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * fontconfig/rendering_type: Bytecode interpreter (CRT screens) fontconfig/overwrite_existing_local_conf: false * fontconfig/subpixel_rendering: Automatic * fontconfig/enable_bitmaps: true fontconfig/hinting_type: Native fontconfig/enable_autohinter: true -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
