Package: ruby-yarv
Severity: normal

        Hi,

Please send the description of your package for review on the
debian-l10n-english list, it is not proper english:
"YARV is Virtual Machine for Programming Language Ruby"

First, you're not supposed to include the name of the program in this
place, second you miss words in the above sentence.

"YARV is a bytecode compiler for Ruby which aims to become the fastest
Virtual Machine for Ruby in the world.":
it sounds weird to note that it aims at becoming the fastest something
*of the world*. Of the "whole universe" would sound even more
 dramatic.

I suggest you change the short description to:
Yet Another Virtual Machine for Ruby
and the long description should at least be changed to start with:
YARV is a bytecode compiler for Ruby which aims at performance.

   Bye,
