Hi, elfsh FTBFS on s390 (bug #381621) and (bug #381334). But, also actually on all non-i386 architectures because it includes i386-specific asm code. People tried to make it work on amd64 in #381320, but ended up with the same conclusion than me. For the record, previous upstream (0.51) built on all architectures.
Upstream does not seem very active, and there is absolutely no indication in the code around this asm that anybody takes care of non-i386 architectures. So I don't expect these FTBFS to be solved soon. Dropping this package on all non-i386 architectures is probably required.
