When I start icedove, I get the following error message:
/etc/init.d/xprint: 534: Syntax error: Bad substitution
I checked, what happens here and found out that this script is started
with the parameter get_xpserverlist. I run
/etc/init.d/xprint xp_serverlist
by hand and it works without problems. Then I tried to run this
script with /bin/sh (symlinked to /bin/dash) instead of /bin/bash
(which should be used according to the first line of the script) and
this triggers this error message.
So it seems that icedove always runs this script using /bin/sh, which
isn't a good idea since the script requires /bin/bash.
