Package: bmpx Version: 0.36.1-1 Severity: important I just found bmpx and was trying to add some podcasts. bmpx crashes without any message on the console when I try to add these podcasts:
http://www.twis.org/audio/podcast.rss http://media.kcrw.com/podcast/show/ww http://www.publicbroadcasting.net/wypr/podcast/1.xml This one does not cause a crash when adding the podcast, but only when downloading cast items, also the podcast disappears from the podcast list after the crash: http://www.sciencefriday.com/audio/scifriaudio.xml But they all work with hpodder, why don't they work with bmpx? I tried to run bmpx in gdb, but there is no debuggin info and I received this output from gdb: [...] (no debugging symbols found) ** Message: #1 Error: Could not get owner of name 'org.beepmediaplayer.bmp': no such name Program exited normally. Also, when starting bmpx, I always get this error message: ** Message: #1 Error: Could not get owner of name 'org.beepmediaplayer.bmp': no such name And finally, there is no icon when trying to add bmpx to the gnome taskbar, probably you need to create a .desktop file for this.
