But the dependencies are still *wrong* because the package accepts an
alternative on | emacsen when it shouldn't, and the package is still not
appropriate for a stable release because it depends on software not included
in etch.

Yes, I do; tagging it for removal now.  If you're supporting backports of
emacs-snapshot, presumably you can provide backports of bongo as well if you
think it's important.

Well, you could ask, though this exact bug implies that the support for
emacs21 isn't very good after all.
