I asked this before on irc and indirectly in the bug to reenable 64bit
i386 kernels. Heres the summary:
The problem with this is that xen needs python and more specifically
python modules compiled fro C source and they have to match the
hypervisor bit-ness.
So to run a 64bit hypervisor you need a 64bit xen-utils and a 64bit
python. And there lies the problem.
You can install the amd64 package with --force-architecture and try it
out.
