Erm, yes. I did mean dropdown instead of combobox. After all, were mostly
talking about dropdown elements.

Same here. Would you mind forwarding my report to the GNOME/GTK bugtracker then?
Maybe the developers there can tell more. From my point of view I can only tell
what I expect and quote the HIG.
