Package: strongswan
Version: 2.8.0+dfsg-1
Severity: important

If I put smartcard options into /etc/ipsec.conf I got:
SMARTCARD support is deactivated in pluto/Makefile

It seems the smartcard support isnt enabled but it should because strongswan
can do it.
