Package: ketchup
Version: 0.9.8-3
Severity: normal
I was wondering why ketchup refused to listen to my demands to download
patches using the URL supplied in my ~/.ketchuprc. After some poking
around, I notice that version_info{} is built (line 541) before the value
of kernel_url gets modified by ~/.ketchuprc (line 608), environment (617)
or command line (648). I think that perhaps this should not be the case,
and that version_info{} should be built after the final value of kernel_url
is determined.
As a test case, try modifying the default value (line 93) to some obviously
invalid value, and attempt to override it to a correct value using any of
the three available methods.
