But it relies on database-files which were derived from various
sources:

APNIC looks dfsg-free:

ARIN data isn't:

| research purposes pertaining to Internet operations only.  It may not

--> no Free Redistribution (i also don't like spammers)
--> Discrimination Against Persons or Groups
--> Discrimination Against Fields of Endeavor

RIPE is the same:

so... that leaves us with a module we may distribute, and data that
couldn't be part of Debian...
