I could add -noleaf to all ~60 find calls in debhelper, but this would not make it safe to build debian packages in AFS directories, since many Debian packages manually call find in various ways when building.
Since this seems to be a general issue with Debian, it seems best to reassign it to general. :-/ -- see shy jo
