Hello,
The copyright file in the .deb includes the following information,
which I believe to be incorrect:

The only changes made are the addition of the Debian package maintenance
system and minor editing in the Makefile.config.

It seems to me from the .diff that changes are made to the actual C
code.
Also the current about page[1] of xpdf says:

site.
------------------------------------------------------------
So perhaps the relevant portion of the copyright file should be
changed to match (now it says "If ... licensing, please contact me:
[EMAIL PROTECTED])
