That would be a bug in the nagios package. Please file it.

I cannot reproduce this, on my test system (configured identically to
yours), the message is rejected as "unrouteable":

[7/[EMAIL PROTECTED] sid]:~$ /usr/sbin/exim4 -bt [EMAIL PROTECTED]
R: system_aliases for [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[EMAIL PROTECTED] is undeliverable
[8/[EMAIL PROTECTED] sid]:~$

Can you please give the output of exim -bt
[EMAIL PROTECTED] on your system, and preferably also
exim -d -bt [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please verify that no
private data is included in the debug output.
