Package: modconf Version: 0.3.1 By playing around with it I found, that the descriptions for 3c5x modules are broken. To see what I mean with that, please do the following:
- create /lib/modules/<kernelversion>/kernel/drivers/net/3com
- move 3c503.ko, 3c505.ko, 3c507.ko and 3c509.ko into it
- create /lib/modules/<kernelversion>/kernel/drivers/net/broken
- move 3c515.co into it
Now you can open kernel/drivers/net within modconf as usual, you also
can open kernel/drivers/net/3com, but you cannot use it;
kernel/drivers/net/broken cannot be opened.
Since I don't have an idea (yet) from which source those descriptions
are build (it seem to make no difference if /usr/share/modconf/descr.gz
exists or not), I've no suggestion about a fix.
