Hi there, I have upgraded gnome to the 2.16 branch present in experimental, and as soon as I have upgraded Gedit wouldn't start but just die on the spot. On the Gnome bugzilla this bug is reported as #351651. Reading through the report, I have found that the break occurs on some python modules. To fix the problem I have upgraded python-gnome2 to experimental and it carried his own dependencies: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get install -t experimental python-gnome2 Now gedit starts and works just fine.
