The documentation is in the -dev package

  [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ dpkg -L liblua5.1-curl-dev|grep doc
  /usr/share/doc
  /usr/share/doc/liblua5.1-curl-dev
  /usr/share/doc/liblua5.1-curl-dev/changelog.Debian.gz
  /usr/share/doc/liblua5.1-curl-dev/curl.html
  /usr/share/doc/liblua5.1-curl-dev/README
  /usr/share/doc/liblua5.1-curl-dev/copyright

The liblua5.1-curl0 package contains only the strictly necessary to make
a lua program using libcurl work. curl.html is not really huge and
detailed, but (assuming you know curl) it provides the needed insight.

Are you complaining about the quality of the doc or about something
else? I'm also the upstream author, so if you have suggestions or
questions I'll be glad to fix the doc.

I think this doc, available upstream, is exactly the one integrated in
the package:

Cheers
